Ten Hundred Word Theology

I’ve always thought theology tends to be an exercise in explaining the inexplicable, and that it has an unfortunate habit of creating words and defining them in such a way as to offer little insight into the concepts they’re meant to describe. So this is a project with the aim of reversing that trend, and trying to describe theology in the most basic terms possible – in this case, using just the thousand most commonly used words.

I introduced this series in this post, written in the same basic language as my little snippets of theology, and you can find the full series in the category Ten Hundred Word Theology. This is going to be a regular project for each Sunday, so if you have any suggestions or requests for ideas to get the Ten Hundred Word treatment, please leave a comment or drop me a line.
